Bali Ducks are one of my favorites because they have these tufts of feather (poofs!) on top of their heads, which looks like a pom pom. Bali Ducks are also known as Balinese Crested Duck or Crested Runner Duck. They are domesticated ducks, and are one of the oldest breeds of domesticated ducks. Being a domestic duck, the Bali Duck originated from Mallards. They are 2.23-2.75 kg (5-6lb) in size, and lay 120-150 eggs a year, which are blue-green or white colored. A Bali Ducks' coloring is usually white, brown, or a Mallard color. Bali Ducks lives around Indonesia and they are a common site all around Ubud.
Bali Ducks are a lot like Indian Runner ducks, except for the poof on top of their head. Their bodies are also a little different from an Indian Runner duck. Some people think Indian Runners originated from Bali Ducks.
